Presented as part of the Pina Bausch Fellowship 2025 at the Pina Bausch Centre, as part of the PINA BAUSCH FUTURE LAB, in Wuppertal, Germany, created in collaboration with fellowship mentor Moya Michael. Môre Môre Môre reflects on today, tomorrow, and the futures that performance can imagine within communities such as Manenberg.

"Wanne jy my naam hoor"

‘Wanne jy my naam hoor’ is dance piece which asks: What do you really hear? This performance, created by Darion Adams explores how people and places are seen - and sometimes not seen.

• is a site-responsive dance performance first performed at the Infecting the City Public Arts Festival. Rooted in movement and memory, the work explores the erasure and ongoing violence against Indigenous Khoi women, children and queer bodies in South Africa.

An improvised performance by Darion Adams formed part of the intimate music launch event “Thokozani Mhlambi & Friends” held at Theatre Arts, Observatory. Set against live compositions by Thokozani Mhlambi and Edward Funguy, and illuminated through the sensitive lighting design of Mandilakhe Zunguze, the performance unfolded as a spontaneous dialogue between movement, sound, and atmosphere — a moment of shared creation that celebrated collaboration and artistic instinct.
